If you want to change your life, you must check in with how you are feeling about what you want. That’s the simple and only rule you need to follow. Your feelings must be lined up with (or “match”) your wants in order for emotional and physical results to follow and show up in your life.
When you make a statement about your want ~for example
“I want to make $100,000. a year” What is the thought that follows? How do you feel? If it sounds something like this………
“Yah right, nobody in my family can make that” “ I could never, Its impossible” . or maybe there is judgment. “People with alot of money are jerks” The feelings then would be hopelessness, despair, frustration, maybe even anger. Your body will also give you clues to the “truth” of the statement. Say your want out loud.. How does it feel in your body? If there is resistance you will feel heavy, If it is true you will feel light.
So, if your feeling is heavy and your thoughts are negative… how do you change this?
The fastest and easiest way I have found to help you improve your feelings is using EFT. No matter where you are emotionally, using EFT can change how you feel about any subject. Changing your feeling from despair to hopefulness or from resentment to peace would do wonders for improving your emotional state. When your emotional state is “higher” or lighter, you are naturally more tuned in to the desires you want in your life. And while anger, hurt and resentment are all legitimate feelings….. when experiencing these emotions repeatedly, you are vibrating in a place that will NOT attract what you want into your life.
We really can, be, do and have anything we want. We just have to get out of our own way. (Meaning addressing how we really feel about whatever it is.)
