Why? Why? Why?

When you find yourself in a situation that you don’t want to be in.

Don’t underestimate the power of your very own unconscious that created the very real experience that you are faced with.

Now before you start yelling, “I did not create this”or  “I did not ask for this”. See if you can allow yourself to take a few deep breaths.

Notice, Can you even take a deep breath?  Is it tight or constricted? As you try to breathe deeply, how do you feel? What do you notice?

Are you feeling to angry to breathe? Are you afraid to breathe because you can feel the sadness and you are resisting it?

All of these things are important to notice if your asking why or fighting what is.

You see, the answers that you seek are inside you. Slow, deep breaths will help you to hear the answers to the questions you ask.

Now, without sounding trite and unsympathetic. The unwanted thing you are experiencing is the gateway to the desire that you want.

The first thing to do is to not do what you always do. You must learn to catch yourself, Stop and Breathe.

Just for now, practice that. Become the observer, witness, watcher of yourself. And Breathe.

Here are a few tips for when you are feeling frustrated and confused because you are not liking what is.

Tap on your collar bone points while you notice your breathing. Tap gently, softly. Allow yourself to take deeper and longer breaths. Notice what comes up. Thoughts, words, pictures, voices, feelings. Notice your response to these things.

Whatever comes up, will be what you want to address with one of the tapping styles.( EFT, FEFT, SAFER, ) If you don’t know how to tap, you might want to schedule a session with me. If you feel comfortable, You can explore what comes up by writing about it or having verbal dialogue with yourself. Both of those can also be very beneficial.

The purpose is to address the resistance so that you can get to the deeper, hidden need. This is where you need to go when you are realizing that your life experiences are giving you what you don’t want.
